Microsoft Vendor Class Identifier Option

In DHCPv4, Option 50 is a vendor-specific class identifier option that can be used by DHCP clients to identify themselves to a DHCP server. Microsoft uses Option 50 to identify Windows-based clients. The value of Option 50 for Windows clients is "MSFT 50".
