OKC Thunder Face Mavericks Tonight

The Dallas Mavericks has taken an early lead in the NBA Western Conference semi-finals. The Mavs, who are playing without star Luka Doncic, defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 117-112 in a thrilling Game 1 on Friday night.
The Mavericks grabbed a 16-point lead in the third quarter, but OKC rallied back to tie the game in the fourth. With the game hanging in the balance, Dallas guard Spencer Dinwiddie hit a huge three-pointer with 1:45 remaining to propel his team to victory.
The Mavericks were led by Dorian Finney-Smith, who had a career-high 30 points. Christian Wood added 25 points, while Dinwiddie finished with 23.
The Thunder were led by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who had 33 points. Josh Giddey added 20 points, while Jalen Williams had 18.
Game 2 of the series is scheduled to take place at the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City on Sunday night. The Thunder will need to win in order to tie the series before heading back to Dallas.
